SOVRANTI CODE OF CONDUCT

The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behavior is expected of you and what behavior you can expect from the Sovranti community. We ask that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in the Sovranti community.  Note that the following guidelines are not exhaustive and may not address all manner of offensive behavior. Sovranti reserves the right to suspend your access any time for reasons that include, but are not necessarily limited to, your failure to abide by these guidelines.  

 

When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice, etc.), you are responsible for how you express yourself. Hate speech and discriminatory language is always inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player or Sovranti employee is always unacceptable. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions up to and including permanent suspension.

 

Names are subject to the same rules established above. Any name the player has the ability to customize, such as player names, must be appropriate and inoffensive. Any name that violates our standards or disrupts the community will be changed, and additional limitations may be placed on the offending account per our discretion.

 

With all of the above in mind you will not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

• Use any part of the Sovranti platform and/or services in support of illegal activity, such as drug or sex trafficking, etc.

• Engage in hate speech and discriminatory language (racial, ethnic, gender, origin, religion, etc.)

​​

• Make threats of violence or harass others, even as a joke

​​

• Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others (impersonating a Sovranti employee, etc.)

​​

• Discuss, or display any data not available through normal game play

 

IMPORTANT

• Repeatedly violating any area of the Sovranti Terms of Use (Website), Terms of Service, End User License Agreement or Code of Conduct, including the areas detailed above, will possibly result in temporary or permanent suspension from the Sovranti platforms as well as discontinuance of the service without credit or refund.

• This policy is not language restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.

In the end we want the Sovranti platform to be a fun and safe environment for all players. While playing Sovranti games and communicating the platforms, you will encounter other players who share different experiences and come from vastly different backgrounds. While certain language and images may not be offensive to you, consider the fact that that same language and images may have a completely different effect on someone else. Let’s all pitch in to make this a great environment for all who want to join and have fun playing board games!
